Thank you, Dolce & Gabbana for bringing a bold yet wearable beauty look to the catwalks and confirming the trend for everyone's favourite make-up: liner flicks and bold lips. Together.

At the designer's Alta Moda fashion show in Palermo the models had clean, polished complexions paired with iconic feline eyeliner, sculpted brows and plump lips painted in statement shades.

The result provided the perfect balance of unfussy, feminine glamour that's easy to channel.

Unlike the clothes, the make-up is ready to wear. The liner came courtesy of Dolce & Gabbana The Glam Liner in Black Intense 1, £27, with their Passioneyes Mascara in Nero 1, £28, applied after and layered up on the outer corners of the lashes.

On the lips models wore a variety of colours, from audacious reds and rich burgundy to deep pinks in matte and creamy textures, achieved with the Dolce Matte (£30) and Classic Cream (£27) lipsticks. Each has a matching lip liner (£22), applied on the models for definition.
